Benny Conboy and I purchased Hero from Phyllis
McNall on Nov. 21 1993 when he was 17 month old. She assured us he was a DUAL
prospect and we assured her we would give him the opportunity to "go all the
way" if he had "IT".
He DID, and we DID.
He made us proud in the show ring as well as in the
field.
He was a gentle soul, sweet and easy to live with,
always in a good humor. He never met a person he didn't like, never saw a
puddle he didn't run through, never saw a "goodie" on the counter he didn't
snitch.
Even though we let him go back to live with
Phyllis, so he could be the Top Dog at her house, he had 3 "momma's" that loved
him very much. He will be missed more than words can say.
